Dale gained experience in a family member’s carpet cleaning business in 1996 before moving into a property management career. Through his contact with tenants and their carpets he realised that many professional carpet cleaners did not have the skills to clean carpets or manage stains effectively. In this unregulated industry, many cleaners would simply shampoo the carpets, leaving a residue which attracts further soiling.
Dale recognised that he could become the most skilled carpet cleaner in Bendigo. He undertook internationally accredited training and became certified to provide advanced floor cleaning on a wide range of surfaces, and repair and restoration services. He even trained in specialist water damage and forensic cleanups to bring more skills and services to his region.
Dale and Michelle launched Advanced Floor Care in 2017.
