Stain Removal

Speed is key in stain removal and the success rate is much higher when the stain is still fresh. It can be tempting to use store bought or DIY stain removal products but often these are too harsh for carpets and can result in accidental colour removal or sticky residue. It may also set the stain permanently.

Our advanced stain techniques can remove light or heavy stains from carpets of any material. We are confident we can remove the stain even if it has been there a while, and even if it has been professionally cleaned before. If we can’t get it out, we have advanced techniques to repair, colour-correct or replace the stained area.

We remove almost all stains – even old stains

  • Red wine
  • Blood
  • Bleach
  • Urine & pet stains
  • Makeup
  • Nail polish
  • Vomit
  • Oil & grease
  • Coffee, tea & cordial
  • Pen & marker ink
  • Slime, blu-tack & glue

Our stain removal process

We first treat the stain and try to remove it with solvent. If that doesn’t work, we apply advanced stain removal techniques (and a few secret tricks).

If that still doesn’t work, and the staining is stubborn or permanent, our trained technicians apply restoration or colour-correction techniques, including heat transfer, spot dyeing, redyeing or replacement of the stained area.

All our stain removal products are non-toxic and eco-friendly.

Stain Colour-Correction  and Carpet Dyeing

We manage all colour issues, including:

  • Stain colour-correction (dyeing or lightening)
  • Bleach stain or spot dyeing
  • Heavy carpet stain restoration
  • Restoring stained and faded carpet to its original colour
  • Full carpet colour change
  • Adding vibrancy to carpet colour
  • Adding colours missing from the carpet to create new colours

Our stain colour-correction and carpet dying process

Carpets are made to last 15-20 years. Stain colour-correction and full carpet dyeing can extend the lifespan of a stained, faded or dated carpet. It provides an economical alternative to carpet replacement for homeowners, as expert carpet dying costs 50-80% less than the cost of replacing a carpet prematurely, depending on its grade and condition.

To begin our technicians will inspect the carpet and ensure it is dyeable.

The art of stain colour-correction and carpet dyeing requires extensive technical training as stains are dyed or lightened to match the colour of the carpet by gently adding and balancing the colour pigments. Alternatively, a full carpet can be dyed to restore it to its original colour. Patterned carpets or rugs can be expertly colour matched and second-hand carpet can be brought back to life.

Bleach Spot Repair

Bleach spots and colour damage can occur when your carpet comes into contact with harsh chemicals, by accident, by using store bought or DIY stain removal products, or sometimes by previous cleaners. The spots may appear yellow, orange or green in colour depending on which chemicals have been used. Our advanced restoration techniques correct the spots and restore the carpet back to its original colour.

Odour Removal

Most homeowners have a difficult time removing odours from their carpets, especially if the smell is deeply ingrained. Our advanced cleaning techniques neutralise odours so well you’ll be amazed how fresh your carpet can smell.

We neutralise odours associated with

  • People – children and elderly
  • Pets – urine, faeces and dander
  • Smoke
  • Food – pungent
  • Chemical processes

Our odour removal process

We use advanced techniques and custom tools to extract the urine and odour causing molecules from the carpet underlay, without any carpet removal or replacement. This leaves the carpets with a refreshed, clean, deodorised odour, and no chemical smell.

Our experienced technicians specialise in solving difficult and permanent stain problems and we have a solution for almost any pet situations you may face.

*There are no guarantees all stains and odours will fully be removed depending on the severity of the stain and quality of carpet. Due to the nature of the odour, any light to moderate pet soiling is treateable with a high likelihood of the odour and stain resulting in being fully removed. However, if our technician identifies severe stainage from constant and regular pet soilage over a period of time (weeks in the same spot), it is highly unlikely these will be fully 100% removed.  If these prove severe enough where the stain is deep in the carpet backing or reached the carpet underlay, we can treat it but this will not be a long-term solution and highly recommend the carpet will require replacement at some point. In the event that this may happen, we will bring this to your attention during the initial-inspection process and you will have full choice and control on how you choose to proceed further.
